Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

horrible gps signal

So i tried swapping antennas thinking that was the issue and no dice, i get the gps with a line through it randomly and never get a true lock for the guidance to function it just shows me driving near the road. The antenna is mounted in the stock location by the defroster grill and is obstruction free. The only thing i can think is a firmware issue maybe?

For what it's worth, I have both the GPS and the Sirus/XM antennas in that stock location under the defroster grille on the right side of the dash. The GPS never loses lock and I'm satisfied with the performance of the XM radio with the antenna there. It performs just as well as it did in my Blazer with the antenna outside the car.

In other words, I don't think it's your antenna's location.

Its not the location, looks like its the generation of antenna, i'll update the info in my factory nav swap thread to keep the clutter down.
