[TD="colspan: 3"] Hey guys, was hoping someone could help me out. The horn on my 2006 Grand Prix GXP has completely stopped working. Figure it's a relay but looking through my manual the underhood fusebox doesn't show a Horn Relay for the V8, just a Horn Fuse which I switched out and didn't make a difference. I notice for the V6 underhood fusebox there is a Horn Relay which is weird, you would think the V8 would have one too...

locate the horn, and check its plug for corrosion. clean both sides of the plug.

you can also run power to the horn and see if it works.
 
Yeah the salt in the winter is tough on the vehicles. So then there isn't a horn relay on the GXP's? That's odd. Replaced the low beam relay last year and it wasn't on the V8 fusebox diagram either.
 
id test for power at the plug when the horn is pressed, as well as see if the horn works when powered.

no idea on the relay. if the plug dont have power, then id start to look for one
