Hoods

I'm looking to put a different hood with hood scoops on my 98 GTP its blacked out, just wondering what people think from experience I love the looks of the one on the G8 I don't want something huge and tacky just something to make it stick it out more any other exterior mods on the body anyone can help me with? I know it's mine and do what I want just seeing what people think and that's what I'm here for, thank you everyone

You could always make a custom hood too.

Other exterior mods would be Rims of your choice, different spoiler (SLP Gen 1, SLP Gen 2, SD, 40th/Special Edition/Daytona, Limited Edition)

I was just thinking the other day, I wish there was a post somewhere on here listing all the hoods and who makes them. And look at that lol. Prices would be helpful in deciding too, I like them but don't think I would spend too much money on one

Prices vary. Most hoods in fiberglass run around $500 + shipping.

It also depends on who manufactured them too. The fit and finish on a factory SLP GTX hood is going to be better than an aftermarket fiberglass replica. There are also a few different styles of the cowl hood, the most awesome being the one with the heat extractors on the sides of the cowl.

Do you have a picture of that awesome one you are talking about? I like the SD hood would I be able to fit a G8 hood on it I love those hoods...thanks for the info I got some 18 inch rims that came with the car, and this will be a dumb question but what is the SD lip?

Does it make a difference my car is lowered a little bit and that is like $340 wow that seems really high unless I'm missing something if its just an add on...
