Hood Pin switch location?

Hello all,
I recently had my car serviced, and now my aftermarket remote starter isn't working. I've read that it could be due to the hood pin switch, or the tailights? Where is this "hood pin switch?"

When I attempt to start the car, the signal lights flash repeatedly, so it's not the remote or reciever. Problem is, after this flashing the engine doesn't kick in to start.

This is a problem cause I lost my chipped key, but I was able to fool the security by remote starting the car, and then putting in the cut-key (it's from Canadian Tire).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have the feeling it's a matter or loose wires or something.

Hello.
I had a remote start on my Gtp. It did not come with a "hood pin" style hood sensor. It actually had a plastic piece, about 1" x 3/8" that was stuck to the hood, and when the hood was down, it detected it somehow. When I installed my SD hood, i didn't know what this "sensor" was for, so i let it hang in the engine bay...Well, my remote start quit working after i did that...I had to locate this sensor, and i mounted it to the firewall in the "hood closed" position. I would like by your driver front strut mount area, for a small plastic piece with 1 wire leading to it...Good luck.

My red GP has remote start (even though I don't drive it in winter lol) and it does not have any hood pin switch. The only time it has not started and the lights flashed like you described, was when the switch under my dash for the remote start was turned off. My foot must have hit it or something and that's all it was. So see if you have a on/off switch somewhere.
