I have a 04 GP GT, if I hit the key probably 6 out of 10 times it'll turn over, start then stumbles and stall immediatly.....what would cause this? no codes thrown. It had po455 large evap leak, the dealer replaced the vent valve and gas cap under warranty.....and the fuel filter, none of which fixed this???? And the car from 1-2 gear will sort of surge or jerk sometimes but only under light throttle...?? any ideas? It has 94k miles, I'mn gonna do the filter and fluid...maybe thats all it is?

if its under warranty bring it back to the dealer, let them fix it for free.....

my 04 did the same thing when i got it. i clean mine every spring. gets a lil dirty with 190K on it. just pull it off and clean it with a 3m pad and some spray degreaser or carb cleaner.

you do have the right to go to another dealership, i've done it, you are not locked in to their repair shop, hell you could go to another state if you wanted to. just keep bring it back till its fixed, these are your rights. and replacing parts is what they will do till they get it right, they are getting paid by gm to do the repairs, so new part after new part, it ain't a bad deal in the end.

i had a similar troblem and found it to be the fuel pressure regulator
