High Winds VS. Barn = 1 Less turbo GTP

Had some high winds, measured 77mph at my brothers place down the road but there was a line where it took out most sheds and barns along a stretch.

Here's what's left of the GTP...

Next question, how many windows do you need to take it down the track?

i dont think you need any windows to track your car, just goggles.

are those pics after it was dug out? or did most of the barn blow away?

it looks fix able really.

If you havnt already ill cry a little for you!
Damn id be pissed at least the roof isnt caved in and i sure hope it sees the track again!!

vaccume and some glass looks like it would go a long ways once dug out. I wouldnt even paint it chicks dig battle scars!!

I think the barn got picked up and drug over my car, didn't touch or try to dig it out yet.

It doesn't look bad but the roof is completely f'd up, front fenders smashed, driver door is smashed in, that 6x6 landed on the back window and looks like it flattened out the tops of the rear fenders, a board went straight through the rear deck, another board went through the front windshield, passenger mirror is gone. If the roof wasn't so terrible I'd be tempted to put some new glass in and go but it's bad enough that you can't put glass in without fixing the damage. The corner of the sunroof is down 2 inches from the rest.

In pic 1 if you look at the passenger side rear corner of the sunroof you can see the roof is down.
In pic 2 if you look at the top rear of the driver door you can see something landed there and smashed in the roof.

Just put new control arms on the front, new shocks, new tires, racetronix fuel pump. All it needed was a new battery and retuned.

So sorry to hear about the car man. I'm in north central Iowa, and I swapped my mom's caravan out for my car in the garage because she has hail insurance......but that's much worse. I hope it gets fixed up, and not just scrapped. Best of luck with insurance!

That sucks!!! Hopefully you had the car insured while it was in storage. With the amount of body work involved it will be cheaper to transplant powertrain to clean shell.

That totally sux... Glad nobody got hurt, fenders can be repaired...

I agree with the find another shell thought, swap what ya wanna keep into a nice clean body.
: )

Wow, mother nature was pissed. Sorry to hear it though, it was damn pretty. and that last pic, ha, the right side looked untouched

remind me of when the wind here tipped over my 88 K5 blazer.

I just saw this and i just wanted to shed a tear for you too :( Tyler can hook you up with a caged car tho and then swap it all in and your good as new.
