High Pressure line stuck

Im doing the High Pressure power steering line on my 2002 GP GT. Ive hit it with penetrating oil and heat and a bfp. Still wont budge. Anyone got any ideas on how to get er out?
 


I could care less if i ruin the hose. Im replacing it anyway. I used a line wrench with a bfp. Im gonna see if i can use a lift tomorrow and really get it. Its stuck on the rack side.
 
if you lower the sub frame you'll have a better angle at it. they are tight, once they crack free they come right off.
 


Just find a good position and put some ass into it, it breaks free eventually, but you gotta contort yourself into the right spot.
 
Im gonna buy some PB blaster and MAP gas and try to just heat the living heck out of it. Ill get it eventually. Thanks for all the help guys!
 
Lol yes I am. Unless its a left hand thread. Ive had some pretty good leverage on it and nothing. I even tried tightening it a little bit but this thing doesn't move one way or another.
 


From the video Scotty posted the other day about steering rack replacement I would say the threads are normal righty tighty, lefty loosey.

Just make sure you are pulling down on the wrench when it is coming out the back part of the subframe. ;) :p
 
are you a real light person? under 150 lbs? lol

if you haven't stripped the nut or snapped the wrench, you have not tried hard enough.
 
Sometimes if you crack one loose just barely in the tightening direction instead, they will break free. I usually use another wrench on the end of the first because I'm old and don't like mashing hard on wrenches anymore. Thats a good opportinity to slip and become injured, or break a tool too. But sometimes its the only way. PB usually gets em all if you give it time. If not, yep heat or chop chop.
 
im not 100% sure what line is what, but i did find i had to take the one thats in the wide open off first to get the line thats behind it off. theres no good angle to it if the other line is in place.
 
Lol yupp, I weigh like 154 lbs with tool belt and work boots on. Luckily, the pressure line is the one thats in the wide open. Thats what I seen also is the back one is trapped in there. Im still just waiting to hear back to see if I get lift time, if not ill be back at it next weekend. This isnt fun anymore lol. Ive also had good leverage, I used a big pipe but it didnt give me much turning room. But Ill find another that just barely fits over the wrench and gives me more room
 


Damn son, I weighed like 180 in high school, lol. Maybe put a glove on, too, might help you give it some more force if you're not afraid to smash your hand against stuff when it pops.
 
When I was his age I was lucky to weigh 145. 15 years later I'm still not big by any means, but float between 170 and 180 lbs, but am a ton stronger than I was. LOL
