High output alternator pulley siZe

Mirraco

One BadAzz GT Dawgg
I bought a high output alternator the pulley on it is way smaller. Now can I just take my pulley off the oem one? How much would that drop the output that it's giving out. Or I can get a way smaller belt I tried one that's 3/8th inch smaller and it still was too big it has to be over a inch smaller pulley

If it's the $200 eBay "high output" I would return it.
He uses the smaller pulley to mimic a high output at idle and cruise. Also the comments of other buyers show it's within stock ratings when they had it tested.
If it's not the eBay one , the smaller pulley may only help at idle as well but the maker of the alternator can give you the specific output at specific rpm ranges.

I bought it from the db website. Got it all hooked up with the oem pulley. Is it same rating with the oem pulley or did i lose alot of the amps? Its 220 amp one

It's output vs rpm You might not get full output at idle with a larger pulley. Got to ask the maker for a spec sheet
