Hid question / new member!!! Need help.

Hey guys I'm new to this. Just got a 2001 gtp special edition in black 2 months ago. I need help. I have 8000k hids. They only stay on hi beams & my fogs don't work. It's really annoying, anyone have any suggestions? Please & thanks.

Is it a plug and play kit or did you have to splice wires?

Sounds like a DDM kick where the wiring is a bit goofed up. I've seen this a few times where you had to use a meter to confirm things and repin the connector.

Sounds like your HID kit isn't a hi/low kit. I had exact same problem ! You need a hi/low hid kit meaning has hi and low beam bulbs on it . Fogs wont work when high beams are on that's normal
