Hid ballast getting wet

Today my ballast got wet on my 04 Grand Prix where do you guys mount them or do to keep the water out the ballast is fine now took the hair dryer to it
 


I mounted mine...on the reinforcement bar where you can't see them from behind the grill never had a issue. Most ballast are semi waterproof.
 
Ballasts have been here for 2.5 years.....

that is also where I have mine mounted. ...never had a problem with them. However, my relay got wet once and would not allow me to turn the lights off.
 


Just a question anyone running a relay harness with there hids I just got one for my 04 gp I'm running 55w and i was thinking about getting some dielectric grease for the connectors to help keep the water out ?

Heck mine got wet and wouldn't turn on...least to say I redid all my harness wiring to prevent that in the future though
