whats up everyone my name is josh i actually just bought a 99 gtp coupe 2 days ago. I'm a mechanic for 5 yrs now not real familiar with gtp's i've repaired a few but never modded. I'm actually a dsm guy (talon's & eclipse's) but found a good deal on one, i think lol, and have always liked them so decided why not!?!?! any who just thought where better to learn a few tips and tricks than a grand prix forum. so thats me good to be here hope to learn not lookin to go to crazy with the car, got the dsm for that and buyin a bike. also this may be kind of a dumb quetion but is that a lip i see on a lot of gp's it makes the bottom flush across the front and puts vents on the sides i like it very subtle.

so in less than a week i've changed my mind and decided it needs to be faster i mean its the only logical thing to do in my mind just wondering whats stock boost and how much can it handle before needing more fuel???
 
where in chicago you from. since i joined i haven't find anybody from the north/northwest of the city yet. they all in the 'burbs.

you could hit low 12's with a cam, or keep it a 13sec daily driver with rockers....and basic bolt ons.
