Hey everyone,

Just thought I'd get some pointers from everyone, I recently bought a rebuilt title of a 05 Grand Prix GT and so far have put another $2K into it. Today seemed like everything was fixed and then this afternoon it started leaking transmission fluid. Guess there is a reason the guy went down to $4K when I bought it. I don't think he realized the issues it had. Hopefully this will not be a massive cost failure...not sure I could take it if they tell me the tranny is shot. Anyways it is a blast to drive I took it out on the freeway today and was having a great time, until I saw the red stuff in my garage....:( Taking it in tomorrow during my lunch break. Wish me Well!
 


What Cam said. Cooler line could have popped, could have a leak in the tranny line.

If nothing else maybe a tranny pan gasket. Would be a good time to get new fluid and filter with a gasket in there.
 


Got it fixed, had an issue with the transmission lines(small ones) that didn't get meshed correctly with the rebuild. Also had the sway bars replaced. She seems good now. Thanks for all the posts. Pictures soon to come.
