Hey everyone, I've been on the forums nonstop reading all the information on here and it's great you all know seem quite helpful and definitely full of knowledge.
My names AJ and I recently got a 2001 GT SE and am looking to doing some serious tricking out to it, but, to my own fault, am a little uneducated about quite a few areas. And by a little, I mean a lot lol. I don't want to "rice" it up, but I'd like to turn a few heads that's for sure.
My first questions are for the exterior. I was looking at rims and wheels, and was wondering, when I send her in for a new paintjob (black again), I want black rims to match (murdered out look). Is it cheaper to have the chrome stripped from the wheels and then powdered black, or to just buy new rims (and tires if i go up in size)?
Second, I was looking for new headlights and taillights as well, and I really like the halo projector ones seen here

I'm also looking at window tints to complete the effect but I don't know yet. Any insight at all would be greatly appreciated and it's a pleasure to be part of the forums!
