• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Hey there......

Just thought I'd say hi from the great white North....and hope to pick up some advice, knowledge, and expertise from the site.

I just bought (literally) my new family ride......2002 Grand Prix GT. Always been a W body fan, just never actually owned one before. I used to be a mechanic for years, build/built many rides over the years...and presently have a 98 GMC solid axle swapped 4x4, a 91' rat rodded caprice, a 78' Ford F250 4x4, 77 Ford F250 2wd, and of course the GPGT now.

...long story short, not doing anything crazy to the GP as of now for a while...just want to do the cheap, free and easy mods, some rims/tires, tint, maybe a hood and some other cosmetic goodies. Going to keep this one simple at this point. But I'm not exactly known for leaving things alone....stock sucks!! lol...

..anyways, thanks!

Stock is reliable! Welcome to the site!! I have always wondered....what kind of motor oil do you guys use way way up there?

...same as you guys, the petroleum based type. :th_mischievious:

...just kidding. In the winter months "I" use a minimum of 5W30 or 0W30..or synthetic. Our winter/summer is not much different than it is/would be in your Northern states. The "igloo's" are waaay North of me yet. lmao.

Thanks for the welcome guys....it is appreciated.

Welcome to the community.

My brother-in-laws wifes parents has a fishing lodge/resort in Manitoba I believe it is. I havent made it up there yet but I hope to someday. They also own a restored P51 Mustang so that they keep hangered down here that I have yet to get ride in. So much for family connections huh? One of these days I'll convince them to fly me up there in that thing.
