Hey guys! Thanks for having this forum for all of us GP guys.
A little about me... I'm old.
52, to be exact. I live in Austin, TX. I've had a Pontiac (at least one) almost every year since 1979. Some of the Ponchos I've owned are: 1972 Firebird, 1972 Lemans, 1997 GP GT coupe, 1998 Firebird convertible, 2005 GP GT2. I still have my 98 'bird (176,000 miles) that I bought new in June '98, and my 05 GP (98000 miles). I'm pretty adept at working on my vehicles, like to do as much of the maintenance/repair work myself as I can. I'm fanatical about keeping my cars in top shape and looking clean and detailed. I really like keeping track of things, so I keep very, very detailed records on all of my vehicles. I have detailed maintenance records for every vehicle I've owned back to 1979, and gas records from every fill-up all the way back to 1991. I keep track of a lot of stuff, so I have many, many spreadsheets filled with detailed records on all of my vehicles I've owned. Yeah, I'm one of those guys. Anyhow, I have quite a bit of knowledge that I've acquired over the (many) years and hope to be able to help out other people on the forum with their questions, too.
Beyond that, I play guitar, record music, dabble in guitar and audio electronics, been doing Android app development since 2008 when Android came out, I speak Russian, English, and Spanish, my user name is from the title of a song from my long-time idol: Frank Zappa, and have a life-long passion for Pontiacs!
