Hey guys I just picked up a 98 Grand Prix 3800. I changed the plus and wires, new fuel pump and sender, cleaned maf, new Tps. The engine normally runs great but about one out of ten times when I push the gas from a stop it has no power and doesn't want to go, if I completely let off the gas and hit it again it goes fine. It's definitely in the engine it's not the trains slipping or anything. It seems to bog and miss, any ideas where to look next? There are no check engine codes.
 


Did you clean the entire TB? The backside (the part you can't see) of the butterfly gets really carboned up. What kind of plugs did you use? Change the air and fuel filter?
 
i second fordmans77 ideas. clean the throttle body and replace filters. don't just spray crap into the TB , take it off and clean it. don't use throttle body cleaner on the sensors . oh and run some fuel infection cleaner in the gas. i use seafoam
