Hesitation and Stumble

Can't figure this out. Engine kept dying. Replaced CPS. Ran fine. Then the tac would go to zero and the trac off light would come on, engine would die intermitantly. Figured bad CPS and replaced it again. Now when going up hill it hesitates and stumbles. Tac goes to zero and trac off light comes on. Any suggestions? Besides a bullet.
