Here's one I've never seen....... Meziere Water pump binding up in casing

Yup, brand new pump, out of the box. Installed it and it kept blowing out fuses, pulled it off the car, and sure enough, the impeller is VERY hard to spin by hand, can get about 1/4 turn on it, and then it totally binds up.

Urrrrgh, this fuking thing is BRAND NEW!!!!!!!!!! So I have an email out to ZZP, I'm sure they'll take care of me. Pretty pissed about this though as I wanted to have the car running by the end of my vacation next week......... :( Oh well!!

So has anyone else had an experience like this?
 


Just an update for anyone interested: ZZP sent me an RMA # today, they'll have the pump back by wednesday, and hopefully have a new one out to me same day.....
