• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I have posted many other threads, I need to know what is next on my list, I have replaced my plugs and wires, and had my cat and u-bend cut out, I still haven't gotten an o2 sensor emulator, as it is the weekend, my car still bogs, stalls, idles rough, and struggles at high rpms, and my fuel efficiency has gone from 450+ kms in town to under 300, it sounds like something else could be clogged other than the cat that is now gone and I can smell gas, what could cause it to run rich? And would it be the same thing that is causing the misfires and poor idle and poor acceleration? My next plan is to replace my coil packs... Any thoughts and inputs ASAP are very appreciated as I drive my car for a living and haven't been able to work in almost a week... I need my money maker to run tip top!!!

High fuel pressure can cause a rich condition as well as faulty MAP, dirty MAF, and faulty ignition components. Also, mechanical issues such as sticky valves or other worn valvetrain components, chipped pistons, and a myriad of other bad things can do the same thing.

Do u have a way to scan it? Scanning it should sho u what could b wrong? Mayb your maf is dirty or your up-stream 02 is bad? :th_scratchhead:

Had a similar problem with mine, found that the air inlet plastic pipe to the throttle body had a crack in it and was not sealing properly. Make sure everything is buttoned up correctly there, cheap easy fix if it is that. Changed it to a CAI, was the reason I needed to upgrade it, and problem was taken care of.
