Help with sunroof!

I have a 2004 grand prix gtp and for some reason, the sunroof refuses to open. When i hit the button in the direction you normally would to close the sunroof, I can hear the mechanism engage. If I try and open it, however, there is no sound and the sunroof stays shut. Any ideas on what's causing this?
 


It could be jammed...or a motor went out.....

just my thoughts. I havent heard of anyone having problems on 04+'s
