Help with random switch i found

Hey guys im new here im a big jeep guy not a prix guy and i know with maybe alot more searching i could have found my answer but... I got an 02 geand prix gt 90k miles of michigan winters still solid as can be. Hanging by the my gas and brake pedal i have a little red push button that just dangles it doesnt do anything when pressed so i traced it and the ground it cut but the hot wire runs into the engine bay and under the plastic 3800 shield. And is tapped into a yellow wire and ideas what this could be?
 


Its not factory whatever it is.....could be an aftermarket valet button, something to do with remote start/alarm, extra lights someone added, some sort of fuel pump booster, the possibilities are endless.
 
So i traced the push button up to a electrical junction box up under the steering wheel where it was plugged in with a little blue plug. And then there was a larger group of wires also plugged in there in which there was a red and blue wire that came threw the firewall one going to the yellow wire i previously talked about and the other was not connected to anything
