Help with rain leak

I used the help from the forums to stop the rain leaking through the fan motor with the new deflector. About a month later I noticed water in the passenger floorboard again and sat in the car during a rain to try to find the leak. It is coming from where the floorboard meets the door about halfway back. I removed the trim and there is a small groove there. Any help? 2000 Grand Prix 3.8 v6 4dr. I do not have a sunroof or onstar.
