Help with new alarm plz

Ok, I have an 05 Grand Prix GT just got a python 592 alarm installed. Its the same as the viper 9502. Im having a few problems with it and I wanna check up on them before I go back to the shop.

The rear defrost will not stay on for longer than maybe 2 minutes or sometimes 30 seconds and I did not have the rear defrost hooked up to the system so I could control it from the remote.

Also, it does not seam very sensitive at all. I can pull on my door handle, hit the fender, hit the rear quarter panel and get nothing. The windows seem to pick up any shock fairly well but not any body panels. I got a hold of the installation manual and printed it out. The sensor is adjusted via the remote and I have it all the way up on 15/15. I think they installed the brain under the dash on driver side but I havent looked to confirm.

Any thoughts or ideas is greatly appreciated

These are things you should address right away with the installer. Be nice.. explain the issues and they should be able to fix it up easy.

The sensitivity is usually just a setting and that's easy to fix.. the defrost..I'm unsure.

Ok I still havent gotten the rear defrost thing looked at yet, but now I have a new problem.

Whenever I try to arm the car I am now getting a door open error on my remote. I have opened and closed every door countless times and even the trunk but nothing has worked. Any ideas on this one? It has worked perfectly since I got it almost a month ago.

You had it installed by a dealer for the alarm systems right? It's a DEI alarm and fully covered. Stop into the shop. They have all the info/diagrams and training to fix it for free.
