Hey Guys,

I am wondering how hard it will/would be to install some 6.5" speakers in the front doors. I have a brand new pair of Diamond Audio Hex components and I want to put them in. Where would u suggest putting the tweeters?

I also have a Eclipse amp that I will be running them off of. Can I do this and then just leave the stock bose rears and amp for now?


Your input would be appreciated.

Here is my 6.5's mounted in my front door.

I had to take the door panel of and cut a fairly considerable amount from the panel and fold the leatherette over and glue it, then i baked and fit the standard grills over the curvy area and screwed it in place.

And tweeters were mounted in the factory location, just cut out the hole and epoxied them in.
