Help with ground points.

I need help finding all the ground points. Document I have only details location of 100 series grounds, under hood.

Where are:
[AS LABELED ON WIRING DIAGRAM]: G200, STEERING COL GROUND, G201, G205, G301, G302

Any help on how to test for the presence of voltage on the ground circuit, indicating voltage drop?

headlight switch not illuminating, dic flickers, window motors/door locks are slow and dim all lights. keyless not working.

sunroof motor does not like cold. near non-functional, last night, trying to open it kept resetting the rearview mirror since it was bogging down power so bad. I suspect a bad ground as when i first got the car, the domes would stay on when fuse was put back, which turned out to be something loose in the switch panel for the sunroof.

p/o has run a wire from i/p drl fuse to brwn turn signal wire. I'd like to remove this, and troubleshoot it back to factory. looking at wiring diagrams, this looks like a pretty major circuit. Ties into s204 brwn.

Between here & reddit, redoing grounds has been suggested, don't want to miss any. freshening up the underhood grounds seemed to help smooth out running and brighten headlights.

how are your battery cables? alternators power level at idle? a weak charging alt or dead battery can really make things act up.

if you see any bare copper wire at the ends of the cables, replace them.

batt cables in good shape. re-cleaned terminals with crc batt cleaner just in case.

with digi multimeter, here's what i'm reading right now.

ign off: 12.27v at batt.[few days ago, hooked up to charger, 12A setting for ~3h. maybe not holding charge well?]
start engine, idle:14.5v
idle w/ headlights, fogs, a/c all on:14.3v
ign off, after ~5min idle: 12.75

all readings also checked using alt cable as batt +, and body ground near batt tray as batt -. no appreciable difference.

right. which is why i'm looking for the interior ground points. once faulty grounds can be ruled out, then i'd know the problem lies in the other side of circuits.

looks like there are 4 in the i/p area, and 2 in the passenger compartment.

the "ground locations" thread stickied in how-to only has illustrations for the under-hood grounds, g100, g101, etc.

There is 1 on each side under the front carpet, into the floorpan, just inside the door sill roughly midway between the seat front and the kick panel. If the car has ever had water in it <on a GP?, no way!!!> that passenger side one might be the culprit.

Hmm. I'm thinking of an 04+ and this is a 01. Meh I'll leave it here anyway. The bodies are so similar.

I think there’s one under the steering wheel in the metal panel area. Been awhile since I’ve been down there and I no longer have that car. I think the pass side one is near the fuse box.
