I own a 2004 Grand Prix GTP that I have been parting out the last few weeks. I need help pulling the engine and trans. I live on the South Side of Chicago in Beverly right near Evergreen park and Oak Lawn. Anybody out there that can help me out? I am willing to pay you and also swap out Grand Prix GTP parts for your help. Hit me up. Thanks! :cool::cool::cool::cool:

If you have tools, I can quickly tell you the fastest way to get it out. Wasn't sure if you were aiming for knowledge only.
 
Yes - am well equipped w/tools. Yet, car is on jack stands and not enough clearance to drop it out the bottom. I need to hoist it out the top. Really want someone to help. It will go faster and easier vers me solo. Thanks big time....
 
If you are doing engine and trans..

Unbolt exhaust manifold to downpipe
Pull axles
Cut trans lines
Cut electrical
Cut hoses
Unbolt mounts
Push AC off it's bracket
unbolt PS pump
Lift
 
Bill, Very cool and thanks for the input. Guessing I can hoist out w/ one had- lol!! Question - I have pulled two dog bone engine mounts (top/front of engine compartment). Where are other engine mounts located? THANKS***
