so i have a problem.. the tranny in my car has finally given up and tc has fully locked all the time. im very short on money since its comming into winter(seasonal job). i think the diff is comming apart but i dont know till i pull it apart. there is garbage on the dipstick and the fluid is burnt and the tranny has 14,000mi on it. its a rebuilt(the dealership put it in and wont warrente out cus of the "power adders" i have) but what is the best and cheapest option for me to replace the whole tranny. i have done some research on putting a non hd in and for the better gear ratios and putting my diff in assuming its not garbage too. but my car is a 2003 and have read some valve body and pump changes in 2003. so my problem is that i know nothing about trannys. but i want to learn. so please help.
