Hey im buying some new brakes today. I want a whole brake system. I have 230 bucks and am probably going to pep boys or auto zone. Are there any good performance brake systems there for that price? thanks
Depending on what you buy, I went to united auto parts dot com just for the front brakes I bought 2 rotors @ 22 bucks for the pair and a set of monro pads for 55 bucks so if your lookin for performance brakes your gonna spend more than 230 I think but I could be wrong and I just bought the standard rotors and the best pads, I was gonna do the back but theres plente of meat on the rear pads and I dont want to screw with the rotors cause there drum and hat with ebrake.. Mine are on a 97 gt coupe... Hope that kinda helps..
Just stock blank rotors are fine, spend the money on pads where it matters. Hell you might be able to get the brackets for 12" front brakes, just a different rotor, same caliper and pads.
