• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

okay well i have a few mods that i have been looking to do and i plan on doing all of them but i dont know what ones to do first. i was hoping you guys could help me out with it.

The mods:
Cam: xp or stage 1x
Supercharger: ported, Gen5, or suggestion
Areoforce scan gauge
wideband 02

I would start with the scan guage so you know where you sit as of now and as you do a mod you can rescan and see if you have picked up anything that needs to be taken care of. That's the biggest thing, scan, scan, scan.

Yea, you could do that, but before you do the cam and ported s/c, i'd get some headers. Have you gotten your pcm yet? If not, I'd go with overkill. He can hook you up good. How far are you trying to go with your motor?

i'm looking at pace setters but i heard there kinda crappy. no i havent gotten my pcm yet. so ill get mine from them. I looked at the site and they look great. im gonna try to make 350 or so at the crank

1) scanner to watch knock
2) wideband to not go lean
3) cai
4) exhaust
5) if you are going to do a cam and genv do it together to save money on gaskets and labor since it will be all apart to do a cam
6) then a tune to make everything happy

Im seriously thinking about getting these over tog's now. I have pacesetters and dont waste your time man.

I dont have a wideband but i should by now. Skip the scan gauge and the wideband and get a tuner for 500.00

i would not go with paces setters nothin against them i just think that they are a cheap maybe go with these S&S 3800 Headers w/ WBS Install Kit
yes i looked at the s&s headers right after i posted so im gonna get those later this year after the scanner. yes im going with the scanner. one of my buddies with a gtp already had a tuner so im not worried about one at the moment. But i am going to cam and get a better blower. any suggestions in a combo. you can see my choices at the begining

XP cam
Ported stock blower
Thses 2 things are capable of putting you in the 12's fairly easy with the right supporting mods ect. Like headers for instance.

bada bing then. that was exactly was i was looking for in times. yea im going for s&s headers after the scanner

Is your friend willing to be there when ever you need him. Tuning is not just a one time thing. You can go to the extent of doing a new tune for every 10* of ambient tempture change if you wanted to. If your friend is that willing just tell him to let you use his scanner on his computer also. May save you some money if you can do it that way. Although some perfer to keep an eye on the gauge instead of the laptop. Personal preference there. Damn near any aftermarket gauge you can buy i can already veiw it on the scanner/tuner.
