ok rechecked it and it turns out that my bolts are not stripped but there is a nut on the on the bottom and i cannot for the life of me figure out how to get underneath it to get at the nuts ... has anyone installed a FWI on a 02 GP GT and can tell me how they got to it? - thanks

Vise grips - pull up on the bolt as your turning it. Or - wedge a flat screwdriver under the bolt head and try to back it out slowly with a ratchet, while pushing up on the bolt head.
