so i dont have tyme rite now to do nuthin long story, but i was drivin and car engine light started flashin on freeway stop at work checked the codes nuthin went under history code was mis fire detected any ideas that could be wrong or suggestions ?? thanks wife due anyday now really have kno tyme to check it out just want the car to be reliable to get my wife and new born home thanks. 2003 gp gt family car...
 


You are having bad misfires that could cause damage to the cataytic converter. What cylinder did the code say the misfire was on (For example: Code P0301 mean cylinder 1 misfire). I would check for a blown spark plug, bad spark wires, Ignition Coil Pack, & injectors.

P0300? If it is not missing now you should be ok. It could have just been some freak incident. What kind of scanner are you using?
 
scanner came from matco tools not sure exact name , was in to big of hurry to write code down, engine lite flashes crazy everytime i jump on freeway :confused:
 


UPDATE 4 MY EXCITING DAY ,THOUGHT TO MYSELF ,U RECENTLY PUT PLUGS WIRES COILS, TODAY I GO IN MY GARAGE DIG UP A ICM THINKIN HMMM MAYBE ITS THAT PUT IT ON GO FOR A RIDE NOPE STILL A FLASHIN ENGINE LIGHT WTF, SO I TAKE IT TO THE EXHAUST SHOP THINKIN IT THE CAT, THEY TELL ME NO ITS NOT THAT IT DONT MAKE NOISE AND THERES NO CODES FOR IT ,I TELL UM I WANT A CAT ANYWAYS NO SIR YOU DONT NEED IT YOU HAVE ANOTHER PROBLEM, MY A$$!!! I GO TO ADVANCE AUTO GAT A HIGH FLOW MAGNAFLOW CAT CUT MINE OFF CLOGGED WELD THE NEW ONE ON FEELS LIKE A BRAND NEW CAR


MAKES ME WONDER HOW LONG IT WAS LIKE THAT FOR IT NEVER SEEM TO GO. IT FELT LIKE MY 98 GTP WITH THE BELT OFF, NOW PERFECTO ONLY COST ME 69.00 :th_thumbsup-wink:
