The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
How bout you be a smart ass else where... I already used google but I need help on where I should look...my brothers car..I don't do series 3's..any where I should check or change for these AIR codes?
How about you actually make this thread worthwhile.
Just screaming for help will not get you any. Posting a picture of some random codes with NOTHING else isn't just going to get others to want to help you. Sure forums are for helping and gaining knowledge but you didn't even make an effort to ask for real help.
You have the codes, you have this forum and google. All of those codes and problems have been covered at least a hundred times before.
What you also don't know if how many of those codes are current or history codes. Those generic print off offer you zero help there. And series 3 are really no different than a series 2, all the same basics still apply for the codes given.
Well thanks you actually made a relevant post!!! you google the codes for the AIR ones and it tells you nothing..does this mean air intake or air exhaust
Secondary air injection means an air pump for emissions. The pump in below the air box and near the fans.
With the codes given, either something is blocking the flow of air in the tubes or the wiring is damaged. Or the pump itself is junk because you have a pump stuck on code and performance code. At 231,000+ miles, it's not unlikely that it's dead.
Tune up codes and injector codes are old!! The #2 plug broke off in cylinder and had to drive it on to trailer with no plug in hole lol that was lots of fun! Personally I have NO idea what the AIR even means I own only series 2.. I see what you are talking about with that box near the fans can you tell me what it does and it's purpose? I've never had to deal with one yet??
If you have an 05' it's a series 3 not a series 2. The air pump is located down below the airbox I think. My 05' doesn't have one. I have only seen pictures of them and believe they are on California cars only. If it's missing then tell us what you did to fix that #2 wire you broke.
Doesn't matter if it is series II or III the AIR system is the same from my understanding. And as previously stated the fact that it is a Series III is completely moot, as the engines are pretty much the same.
