Help!! 2004 Comp G Smells

I have a 2004 Comp G and when I come up to stop lights once or signs once the car is warm it smells like something is burning. The motor runs fine and everything but I am wondering if anyone knows what it is? Also, when I shut it off and put it in my garage it smells like burning again. Anytime it is running or off at running for a while it begins to smell like burning. Anyone have any ideas as to what this might be? Sorry for the confusing description not sure how to explain it.

my 9und pieces of a plastic bag on my exhaust so it smells like burning plastic........9 gtp does the same thing i had a body shop guy look at it real quick cause he knows some stuff about cars and he found a plastic bag stuck to my exhaust.......that was a couple months ago and it still does it so im starting to think thats not it so i would like to see responses to this post

I smelled burning recently too in my CompG. Turned out to be the fog light bulb connection.
