How's it going?
I currently drive a 2000 Ford Explorer Limited (AWD 5.0 V8)
I love the truck, it's my baby, but lately I've been driving 50 or more miles a day, and gas is slowly but surely draining my bank account. Me and my mother leased a 2011 Fiesta that I'm driving a lot, which does help, but she's starting a new job out of town in the next couple weeks which means I'll be stuck with my X. I would really like to keep it through the winter, but if I find a good deal on one of the vehicles I'm interested in, I definitely will try to sell it.
Anywho, previous to this Explorer, I had a 2002 Grand Am GT. I loved the car, it was fast, had decent room, and was great on gas. Unfortunately the engine had some problems and then the trans started acting weird so I ended up selling it.
I've always had my eye on the 2004+ GP's, and would love to get one.
I want:
Black on black (preferably leather)
Under 100k miles or close to it
Fog lights
Supercharged would be awesome
Sunroof
Are there any common problems with these things? Any negatives on the supercharged ones? How are the engines and transmissions on these? I won't have much money to work with after I buy one.
