• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I just picked up a 2001 gtp 40th about 3 weeks ago. Im from Parlier Ca, its a small town in Fresno county. Ive always liked the GTP's. I also have a 2000 monte carlo LS that im turning into a ss with a l67 from a gtp. Im in the aviation industry and have been for about 14 years now. I was in the Navy and been and lived lots of places. Just glad to have a GTP now even tho it has some issues.

the 2001 is just a special edition, it wasn't until 2002 that the 40th anniversary Grand Prix's came out. I thought you were swapping a 5.3 LS4 when you said you were converting the LS to an SS. The 3800 is cheaper and easier to mod than the LS4. People seem to have trouble modding cars in California because of the emissions standards, maybe you keep it registered in a different state? I worked in aviation for about 10 years, but got tired of it, so now I'm a full time student and am learning a new trade in Human Resources.

I have a 2001 Special Edition.
