Hello, new to this forum and having a problem with my GTP

Tried to start the car and it would not fire . I tried three times before I put my foot on the gas while starting it for the fourth time and it started and ran fine and strong until I took my foot of the gas and then it died . I have no idle . As long as my foot is on the gas it will start and run and go into gear and drive but will die when my foot is off the gas . Any ideas ?

Also starting last week my car has a delay every once in a while when I turn the key to start it there will be a delay and then it will start .
