Hey everyone, I recently acquired a 2000 GT from a family member that was going to send it to the scrapyard. The car has a few issues, but it wasn't ready to be scrapped. My plan is to make it my daily driver, but it needs a few things repaired before that can happen. I have replaced the heater blower motor & the rear window regulator so far (easy stuff). It has a fuel leak underneath the front towards the rear of the engine, are the fuel lines all one piece from the engine to the fuel filter? It also has a bad brake line leak in the rear end, close to the driver's rear tire. It looks like a pain to get to, should I find a junkyard replacement line or just buy new hard line and bend it myself? It also doesn't have overdrive, but from some searching prior to buying the car, that looks like a common issue with the earlier 4T65-E transmissions. What all should I replace when I tear into the transmission to replace the 4th gear shaft?

Fuel lines past the filter are not once piece. It has a plastic/metal line in the engine bay for the quick connects at the fuel rail. I think it comes up the firewall and goes into those lines up around the brake booster.

Not sure exactly what brake line you are talking about but it will prolly be easier to bend your own line for that section.

You could use some universal fuel line with clamps if it's easier/cheaper than using a hard part.

The 4th shaft isn't the end of the world... it's a pain in the ass to replace while the trans is in the car, though. Lower the subframe, pull the side cover off, and IIRC it's right there.
