Hey all first post here, my gtp passed its last emissions test in its life, its a 99 to be retired at start of 2015. Rebuilt tranny 8 months ago and did not have any leaks till today. I noticed i was low on oil as im overdue for oil change so I have decided to add extra on top before going for the change in a few days. Noticed after that im leaking a bit of what looks to be like engine oil?

I have taken a pic of where its leaking from, need advice. Its on the passenger side right by the front here is a picture of where the small leak is coming from around the black seal?.

Hi ...

That picture is directly under your radiator. There isn't any engine oil up that far on the car, so unless you did a lot of fast backwards driving (say 70mph) that won't be engine oil. Tough to tell at this level of coffee, I'm thinking that is passenger side?

Indeed it does seem to be more under the rad and it is on the passenger side, there is a plastic going from right to left under the bumper with multiple openings, that is the first one on passenger side that's leaking a bit I will get a better picture today.

check the trans cooler lines for leaks.

they enter the rad on the pass side of the car. that fluid looks to be red, tranny fluid is also red.

I was thinking it looked more coolant than oil from the lines. Well worth checking. Also check hoses etc and if you don't have any leaks from them, then likely it's the plastic endcap of the radiator leaking from years of expansion/contraction.

Thanks for the replays guys! I got under it really well today and indeed it is leaking from the rad, looks to be trans fluid. Its a very small leak but annoying to see tiny little black spots under your car. Not sure if that's the drain point of the rad but will definitely take it back to the shop that rebuilt my trans since I still got 4 months warranty on the work they did.
