Hi, im currently looking to buy a Grand Prix. probably between 1999 and 2001. i was curious as to what i should look for or ask about. i know gm had intake gasket issues, but not for sure when they were fixed. So any info would be greatly appreciated, so hopefully i can get a great car and not a turd. thanks
thought i would update the link since i bought me a car.

Gm used to use the plastic intake gaskets. They have now started using the aluminum ones that don't break down like the old ones do.

Overall these cars are pretty durable so to speak. Expect them to surpass the 200,000 mile mark if properly maintained.
