hello- i need help from the trannyman

hello from canmore,ab. i drive...drove a 2001 Grand prix Gt 3.8 auto not supercharged:th_scratchhead:something is very wrong with my transmission, gears have fallen from the part where the cv axel mounts to the tranny and there is a hole in the side of said part- it appears i can replace the broken piece but i am not sure and if so i am not sure of the name of the part i am looking for:th_question1:.. it is bolted to the tranny with the cv axel sliding into the other end
