Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Hello Grand Prix community!

I'm new here, just introducing myself. Hope to learn many things here. I used to own a 2002 Grand Prix GTP. And plan on purchasing a 2006 Grand Prix GXP tomorrow after I get off work. Anything I should be looking for before purchasing?

Welcome! Really test out the transmission and see if it slips. They like to go bad around the 100k mile mark. Post pics if you buy it!

Ok definitely will check on that, I appreciate it. It has almost 78k miles on it. I really hope it turns out as good as it looks and sounds so I can purchase it!

You should be good then. Just as long as the previous owner didn't pound the hell out of it daily.

Ok so I will need a trans cooler. What will I need that for? No problem with getting it, I am just trying to learn more about the cars.

Check for rust, check tranny color oil color antifreeze color, make sure heat and a.c. blast hot cold strut towers in the trunk don't have rust both heated seats work if applicable

Thanks for all the info. I got really busy yesterday and couldn't make it to go look at it. Hopefully today when I get off I will go make the purchase if everything looks as it should. I will look for all that stuff, thanks!
