Hey everyone, just wanted to say hello. I recently purchased my very first Pontiac and I love it! I have always wanted an F body Trans Am, but I am totally diggin my 99 Grand Prix. At first I was a little upset about the 3.1L engine but after some driving around the 3.1 has plenty of power. I have about 145K on the original engine, it still runs great and I hope to keep it that way even if it means buying a "spare" engine and transmission on a just in case basis. Hope to meet some other Pontiac Nuts on here and maybe go to a couple of rallys or something.

If you enjoy the 3.1L, you'll be smitten by a 3800.....and......the 3800 SC will make you feel like a glutton for power {temporarily}.

But you'll be fine with the 3100, have fun!
