Hello All - 05 GTP just hit 100K

Hello All, just registered.
Been hearing stories about the supercharger having problems at 100K miles, so far mine has been trouble free. Changed the supercharger oil twice now, just to be safe.
My problems have been more with the front end. Already had to have the power steering pump and rack/pinion replaced. Now the traction control and anti lock brakes are acting up. These problems common?

Well, IMHO kind of. The sensors for the ABS/traction control tend to fail first. Just a word of advice use quality replacement bearings. The superchargers are fine, change the oil as you have been. And expect the coupler to wear out on you, IIRC one of the few places to buy a replacement is ZZP. The steering pump usually doesn’t go bad so quick, that being said it is never too soon to change out the power steering fluid. I would bet the fluid had never been changed on your car.

The 05 GTP is a great car, stick it out it just needs a little love.
