Hey, I searched and had no luck, can anybody show, or explain how to pull out the heater blower motor, Mine has a squeak when it is running, and I wanna pull it apart to see if I can fix it, or if I need to replace it. do you gotta go from the engin bay? or does it come out from under the dash? or do I gotta pull the dash to get at it? thanks

Crawl under the passenger side dash, you'll see the 3 bolts you need to remove it... Been awhile, so I'm only going by memory...

yes there is 3 bolts in a triangle, unscrew those and unplug the wire harness, and there is a tube that wil stay attached to the motor, and it will come right out

Has anybody tryed taking the motor off the blower itself? I pryed a little, but I dont want to break it, it still works fine, just FUKING SQUEAKS when its on. I pulled it out today, and figure that the squeak IS coming from the motor, but there seems to be no way to get at it. ???

i got a used one for 30 bucks and i have the old one sitting in my room. i havent takin it apart but i would like to do so one day so i can try to fix it to possibly have a backup. idk what would actually be wrong internally tho

ya, I found a junkyard with one for $40, but the guy has gotta take it off, and I was busy all weekend. I dont really like this junkyard setup... I would rather go get the parts myself, and I could check the car out for other parts. This guy says he has a couple of GP's but I call and ask him stuff, and his answer is " I will half to check" If you wanna sell parts, maby you should figure it out.... and have an answer when I call you back! even when I call back he still hasent done sh!t. I would much rather go somewhere else, but there is not many 97-03 GP's in the scrapyards around here.
