Heater no longer blowing hot air

I checked this post on here already:

http://www.grandprixforums.net/ac-heater-blower-fan-only-works-one-speed-44754.html

However, my situation was a little different. My '1', '2' and '5' all went out over a year ago. '3' and '4' worked on the dial for the heater all winter. I washed my car and had just gotten an oil change and suddenly no numbers work. No air comes out. When I first turn it to a number, I can hear a release of air for a split second, but it is like when you pop the lid off a jar or something. There is no forced air coming out. Luckily, I am through winter now. I am not a mechanic, but have done a few minor repairs like muffler, heater core, radiator, spark plugs, etc. years ago. I believe this could be a fuse ( which I have not checked yet since it is night time now ) or the resistor. However, I also read that the blower motor itself could be rusted out. I will have to take a look tomorrow. But, does anyone already know the answer since my numbers on the dial for the heater went out differently than what was posted in that link above?

Thanks in advance.:th_nervous:

replace your blower resistor
and yes your motor could be bad to, mine both died the same time
