Heater Blower Resistor Replacement- 03 Grand Prix

I have to replace the heater blower resistor on my 2003 Grand Prix. Do you have to remove the blower motor in order to get the resistor out, or is there a shortcut to this? I had an 04 Olds Alero before that had this same problem and the dealer had it fixed in like 20 minutes. I'm doubting they removed the blower motor to get it done that fast. Any ideas? I would appreciate it. Thanks!
