heated seat wiring

My son has a 2003 se. He bought used leather seats with the drivers seat heated. The guy selling the seats said that all the necessary wiring for the heated seat option is in all vehicles regardless if they had the heated seat option or not. removed the coin tray or whatever it is to put in the switch but didn't find any wiring laying inside the console to plug to the switch. Has anyone put heated seats in an se? Not a big deal, my son will survive with a cold butt.

Typically the heated seat wiring, if it's there would be taped to the loom. And for the seat end of the wiring, you'll find it under the carpet.
 
They did that on models up until early 2000. My 2000 did not have the extra wires. But the heated seat is easy to wire up, get power from the drivers seat switches, and same with ground. Get a heated seat switch from the jy with the bezel and wire into that, get illumination for it from the gear selector. You'll need to get the wire diagrams for it, you should be able to find those in the add 04+ seats how to.
