heads up display dims in and out?

Heads up display dims and out. Gets better when it watms up. Also there is a sound in the dashboard that sounds like a motor or something trying to work. Any advice? Thanks!

The motor is probably an air mix actuator that has gotten noisy

Thanks. I am gonna follow your instructions. About the air actuated motor: what is its purpose?

That will fix your dimming for good... I removed as much of the factory solder as I could and then scrapped the coating off part of the leads going to it and put fresh solder on for a hella good connection.
