Headlight Intermitant Issue 2006 Grand Prix

My son is attending college (NIU), yes I am broke now. His car developed an intermitant passenger side low beam not working. I replaced head lamp and few days later while he was returning to NIU his headlight went out and he was pulled over and given a warning. I had him return to home and pulled headlight assembly. Pulled on wire, harnesses and work the turn signal / dimmer switch. Could not get the lamp to go out. When the lamp was out the high beam still operated. Is there a defect or typical issue that I need to repair?

I'm 20 and I payed my own way, but thats a whole nother topic.


I think you might have a wiring problem, maybe a broken or kinked wire somewhere and or maybe you just got 2 bad bulbs in a row.
