Headlight Assemblies

Hey Guys

Do any of you guys have weird issue with the light pattern being thrown by aftermarket headlight assemblies. My assemblies were purchased from 1A Auto : Aftermarket Auto Parts, Car Body Parts, Replacement & New Automobile and Truck Parts | Buy Discount Car & Auto Parts Online They are decent quality. Gaskets around the fixture could be better, but otherwise not bad for 100 bucks for the set. I believe the actual brand is Eagle Vision or something along those lines.

Anyways, I just installed the DDM Tuning 35 watt 6,000k Hid Kit. They look incredible. It all works very well. But I'm getting a weird light pattern on the road? Am I not aimed right? the centered light pattern is more of a triangular pattern...its odd. I think its just the cheap construction of the fixture. Maybe I should go back to my weather checked OEM housings? UGH. They are pretty ugly. I liked that i have clear lenses.

Any thoughts would be great.

Idk but the ones I got on eBay are ****! haha I had to open a case about them. The chrome metallic paint or whatever on the back is getting all melty and **** and they got moisture the day after installation!:th_angry-teeth:

I just did a warranty replacement on the right one. 1aauto has a 3 year warranty on the assembly as longas it has something with the headlight beam messing up. The collision center couldn't get it to align right. So they replaced it for free. (because it wasn't doing what it should be doing). Well the new headlight is already collecting WAY more moisture then the other one or even the previous 1aauto headlight. PISS Why can't people just make decent products the first time. I'll be calling 1aauto tomorrow to get another free one. Once the HID's are on..it evaporates =p

I guess the weird light pattern will take time getting use to. I lights up very very nice. I live in a city that has rural parts and can test out the lights :) the 04 grand prix is nice in the regards that the DRL is just the parking lamp in the top part of the fog and the low beams don't actually come on until its decently dark. So I don't have to worry about frying out the bulbs. I'll just have to get use to the weird pattern. It had weird beams of light even with the halogen bulbs. Cheap Headlights.
